What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember things like whether you are signed in, so you don't have to re-enter them on every page.
What we use
Oma Suomi uses essential cookies and local storage to run your account. With your consent, we also use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used.
- Authentication session — keeps you signed in between pages. This is provided by Supabase and is required for your account to work.
- Cookie preference — remembers whether you accepted or declined this notice, so it doesn't keep appearing.
- Google Analytics (optional) — if you choose Accept all, we load Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-83TP03KDLE). It may set _ga and _ga_* cookies to measure visits and usage. These cookies can last up to two years. If you choose Essential only then analytics storage stays denied and no analytics cookies are set. See Google's privacy policy.
We do not use advertising or ad-personalisation cookies. Google Analytics is used only for aggregate usage measurement, and only after you select Accept all.
Managing cookies
Most browsers let you view, block or delete cookies in their settings. Blocking essential cookies (such as the authentication session) may prevent you from staying signed in. You can also clear this site's cookies/site data to reset your preference; the notice will appear again and analytics consent will return to denied.
